and there will always be edge cases. anyway. what about papua new guinea - there is no streetview but some people have uploaded some 360° "photo spheres". it's interesting to take a look.

an article on substack, ew, but interesting though. it's a bit about how the island of papua was colonized, and how these european colonizers failed to notice the indigenous people living on the highland. separated by malaria swamps, neither population saw each other for many hundred years.
