Howto: mess the dials or bap the randomize button (below). Bap also the reroll a few times.
Some general things to be aware of.
- SIM: There is two main attractors, one in the center of each half of the image.
- SIM: The black tiles (apart from border) in the cellular automata spawn additional attractors ("OTF hole")
- SIM: Black, green, and white tiles all have their own sets of "friction" values.
- SIM: Hole strength is bipolar (positive values attract)
- SIM: Friction strength is unipolar (values 0-1 slow down, 1 and above speed up)
- UI: Manual friction inputs are not implemented yet.
- UI: Manual hole strength inputs are.
- UI: Randomize button DOES change friction.
- UI: Value changes (via randomize or manual) take effect IMMEDIATELY without restarting the generation.
- UI: Reroll starts a new generation from scratch, KEEPING values for holes and friction.
- UI: The STOP button is the only way to stop it eating CPU.
- UI: If saving the simulation image above doesn't work, the ones in the log below should be saveable.
